PNG Accident Investigation Commission:To prevent accidents, not apportion blame or liability


The principal purpose of the commission is to determine the circumstances and causes of accidents and incidents with a view to avoiding similar occurrences in the future rather than ascribe blame to any person.





The Preliminary Report for P2-KSF, a Twin Otter owned by HeviLift impacted terrain 12km North East of Jackson International Airport approximately 0935 local time on the 20th September 2014 has now been released at the PNG Accident Invesitgation Commission Office.
